The world famous Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is staged at the fabulous Edinburgh Castle. The Tattoo really is a ‘must do’ when in Edinburgh during August.
Another reason to come to Edinburgh is to attend Murrayfield for a RBS 6 Nations rugby match, other International matches or for Edinburgh Rugby.
Edinburgh can also boast excellent theatres so why not see what is on at the Festival Theatre, King's Theatre, Edinburgh Playhouse, Lyceum Theatre, Traverse Theatre and the Usher Hall.
In Scotland there are Doors Open Days which is Scotland’s largest free annual architectural event. It provides opportunities to see in many buildings across Scotland. Edinburgh has many buildings that are open during Doors Open Day which are held over weekends in September.
